The removal of trees is generally the last port of call for us at Waite Arboriculture and Forestry. There are specific measures we can take to try and keep the tree in existence for as long as possible. Natural defects occur often in trees, such as weakened limbs. We can reduce the weight of the limb by removing some of the mass to help prevent failure. Failing that, we can implement a cable brace. A cable brace is a piece of cable or rope that we use to attach a weakened branch back to the main stem, therefore implying a failsafe to the tree’s branch structure.
